Before I paint a large painting, I like to do a small light study in monochromatic so I can better see how the values of the piece relate to each other and work out some of the composition issues that may exist.

Hermione Granger commission.  This was a lot of fun.  I refused to draw a sexy pinup a young Hermione but drawing her as an adult was a nice challenge and change of pace to the usual stuff I get asked to do.  Cant wait to do more.

Slave Leia commission.  I was asked if I could draw a Slave Leia but with a 50′s pinup smile and pose, sort of like George Petty or Gil Elvgren.  If you don’t know who George and Gil are, please Google them immediately!  You will not be disappointed.
